Stephanie Robertson
Founding President

As a Corporate Citizenship Company (TCCC) consultant, Stephanie's industry experience included financial services, oil & gas, energy provision, telecommunications, retail & consumer goods across a range of business management issues. With TCCC, she worked closely with companies using the LBG Model to achieve maximum impact through their corporate community involvement programs. It was this experience that convinced Stephanie to found LBG Canada in 2005.

Stephanie also created the Business in Society Learning Project and the Social Entrepreneurship Initiative as a consultant to London Business School (1999-2004). During that time, she worked with a range of academics to develop case studies, targeted learning opportunities and to frame the development of mainstream business in society management education curriculum, entitled the Business in Society Learning Project (BSLP). This project was developed with the close collaboration and Chairmanship of Emeritus Professor John Stopford and in partnership with the European Academy of Business in Society.

Two of Stephanie's five case studies written during that 1999-2004 period won European case awards. In 2004/2005 she conceived and led the development of the SROI Primer project - an educational tool to introduce the concept of social return on investment and how it might be measured. Prior to moving to London, Stephanie was a policy advisor to Canadian federal cabinet ministers of Foreign Affairs, International Development and Health. She has been Director of Policy and of the National Women's Commission for the Liberal Party of Canada. In 1991, Stephanie co-founded Generation 2000, a national non-profit organization for Canadian youth. This followed three years of marketing experience in Toronto, Montreal and New Jersey, NY. Stephanie has a BA from Trent University and an MBA from London Business School. She is a member of the Board of the Victoria Order of Nurses in Calgary, an advisor to the Escuela Nueva educational initiative in Colombia and to the International Sport Development Program of the Canadian Commonwealth Association.
