Blake Dinkin

Having worked in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, Blake has managed and consulted on projects in Africa and the South Pacific at the grassroots and senior corporate level. As Regional VP for SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) Europe division, he worked with board members and senior executives to increase brand awareness and engage the corporate sector to provide both human and financial resources.
While with Barrick Gold Corporation, he developed and implemented global guidelines to improve relations between the mine sites and local communities. Blake has also worked for the Japanese trading company, Nichimen Corporation, to establish their nutriceutical division in North America. The result was new business of over US$5.5 million in 1999.
Blake's education includes an MBA with a focus on International Organizations and Development from the University of Geneva. Consequently, he appreciates profit motivation, as well as the need for a company to be a good corporate citizen and maintain a social license to operate.
